World-famous hotel built in 1967 by architect John Portman, famous for its innovative atrium lobby.

The original building was expanded with the addition of the Ivy Tower, at the corner of Peachtree & Harris, which was recently remodelled as the Radius Tower, aimed at female business travellers, and the cylindrical International Tower, built in 1976.
