Tihu Lake

Lake tihu is one and only lake in Wetar island the Distric of Wetar. It is located about 20-30 km from the center of the distric. We can reach this location with walking, there sometimes we would surprising with reptiles kinds of Lizard or Salamander (Chameleon). This lake decorated with the interesting and beautiful panorama. The length of this lake is approximately 36 km. The water of the lake is waves like in the sea. Meanwile the water is also could rise and fall of tides. Where as in fact it isn’t nearest with the sea. The kind of fish is same with the sea fish. According to the result of the research of the Europe researcher there is also shellfish that was millions years old. In the center of the lake there is a small island called “Ibu Island”. It is not only attractive but also it keeped it’s own legend. Long time ago there was two crocodilles with seven and second heads which was living in this lake.
