Initially occupied by departments transfered from AT&T's Bell Laboratories facility in neighboring Holmdel. Post break-up occupants included 'American Bell' and 'AT&T Information Systems'. Prior to purchase the property was an apple orchard, the Beekman Gulick Farm.
