Windsor and Eton Riverside station is one of two stations in Windsor, Berkshire. It is served by trains from London Waterloo operated by South West Trains via its Windsor Branch. It is a terminal station situated on the banks of the River Thames, close by Windsor Castle. The station is an hour away from Waterloo, and has a direct service.

The line was opened in 1848 between Staines and Datchet, but Eton College and Windsor Castle their stand against the railway, along with viaduct problems at Datchet meant that it took a year before the line reached Windsor.

The station building was designed by William Tite, an architect for the London and South Western Railway, as a royal station, complete with a waiting room for Queen Victoria. The station has 2 platforms under a trainshed.

Today, the station is served by a half-hourly direct train service to London Waterloo operated by South West Trains, which calls at eight stations between Staines and London. Although this takes longer than travelling from the Central station, it does not require a change and its terminus in London is more centrally located. Statistics show that for every 3 passengers at Central, there are 2 at Riverside.
