This was one of the best forests of Assam comprising of Jamduwar in the West Rimona in the centre & Kachugaon in the east . It is reported that lot of these evergreen forests have been destroyed by poachers. Had spent some memorable times within them in the Sixties with our Forest Officer father, late Abani Mohan Choudhury. (arijitabani)
