Cerro Gordo Wind Farm is located in Cerro Gordo County south of Clear Lake (both the lake and the city), in Iowa, between 230th & 190th Streets and Balsam & Eagle Avenues. Commissioned in 1999, it consists of 55 Micon M1500-750/48 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 41.25 MW.
