This is biggest meditation center ever in the world.. (NEAR ABOUT 10000 PEOPLE CAN MEDITATE AT A TIME IN THE CENTRAL DOME WHICH IS THE LARGEST UNSUPPORTED STONE DOME STRUCTURE IN THE WORLD........). It is being built with voluntary donations from people all over the world.

  • 29th Oct 2006 is a historic event: Placing the Keystone, Enshrining the Buddha-Relics & commencing work of the 2nd & 3rd Phase of the (Main) Global Pagoda. U see thru the dome in this old picture - it is now complete (phase1). The next 2 phases of the pagoda will be soon underway.
  • Once in a 1000 years comes such a happening, when the relics of the Lord Gautama Buddha are being consecrated in a pagoda. The Global pagoda at Esselworld, Gorai, is the largest such structure in the world after the Shwe Dagon Pagoda in Myanmar. 29 October 2006 will be a day in history.
