This place is @ 12 kms from Rajapur town, located on Mumbai-Goa Highway, towards Rajapur Railway station ( District : Ratnagiri, Maharashtra ) . Neither electricity nor water was available, when it was decided, to develop this farmland. So , I have used Solar panels to generate electricity. As for water, for the Cashew and Mango plantation, I have implemented the concept of Farm Pond ( Shet Taley ). This Farm Pond can store upto 1.75 lakh litres of water, which is fed entirely by monsoon rains. With help of automation, I can start the motor to pump water into an overhead tank. With the help of Solenoid valve, water enters the drip irrigation system, which has also been imlemented. Both, the Motor, as well as Solenoid Valve, can be activated and deactivated with the help of Mobile SMS, sitting anywhere in the world.
