The two story, 250,000 sq. ft.,ninth building was constructed by Regal Motor Car in 1910. Occupying the northern portion of the block was Regal's 1/4 mile test track. In 1916, the property was acquired by Fisher Body whose main plant was located on the north side of Piquette Avenue opposite the test track. The building was renamed Fisher Body No. 7 and three years later a six story building, later designated Fisher Body No. 21 was built on the site of the test track.
