This factory now belongs to South African Breweries (SAB) Miller. Previously the unit belonged to Shaw Wallace Ltd. After the death of the Mr. Manohar chhabria(Chairman) the family members sold the Brewery devision to SAB Miller and Distillery division to UB Group. This factory is rated as No.1 in the Production of Beer in ASIA. Some of the brands produced here are Haywards 5000, haywards 2000, Royal Challenge, Castle Lager etc., are some to mention.
