International Yoga Society, Lal Bagh Ashram (Loni)

This place, commonly known as "Lal Bagh Ashram" by locals, is the Indian headquarters of International Yoga Society(You can visit www.yrf.org or www.iys-loni.org) . One can feel distinct spiritual vibrations once you visit this place. There is a charitable hospital and a primary school functioning within this premises. There is also an Old temple of Lord Shiva, which is centre of attraction for local people.Society also manages an orphanage catering to some 70 orphan girls. But the main activity of organization is Gyan yaghya( Worship and spreading of Knowledge). Numbers of spiritual books are published by the society and one can have a look at them by visiting its library which is situated in its ground floor.

  • This is a holy place for me and i feel a person must join in social activity through this society it is a great article but one thing missing that this society also runs an ashram in dumari bujurg saran bihar on the birth place of sri swamy jyotirmayananda ji maharaj.
