This two storey cottage was long ago the undertaker's cottage when what is now Drury Lane Gardens was the cemetery of St. Martin in the Fields. It is the last remaining cottage in central London. The smaller building on the other side of the entrance to the gardens, which is now used by the groundskeeper, was long ago the morgue.
