Eastern sector of the port with a total surface of about 1100 acres.
The work of dredging the eastern basin is in progress. After its completion the basin will have a depth of -12.00m (MSL) in a 667 acre surface and a maneuver circle with a diameter of about 730 meters. The approach of ships is ensured with simultaneous excavation of a navigation channel with a total length of 3.5 km, minimum width of 160.0 meters and depth of -12.50 m (MSL).
In accordance with the approved program plan of the port, a further deepening of the basin up to -15,00m (MSL) is to be performed.
