The ornate Churriqueresque style theatre was designed by architect Stiles O. Clements in 1926 and originally opened as the Masque theatre. It was renovated in 1950 and renamed the Vagabond, showing movies until 1985. The Hayworth Theatre Company took over the building in 2006.
