Tuna Harbor Park features a small grassy area with trees for shade and public art, including a large statue by Stanley Bleifield, entitled “Homecoming,” celebrating the Navy, a sculptural tribute to Bob Hope, designed by Tom Askman and Lea Anne Lake, a U.S. Aircraft Memorial, including a black granite obelisk and two life-size bronzes sculptures, by T.J. Dixon and James Nelson and the Clifton A. F. Sprague Memorial by Kim Moon. A small amphitheater provides seating for users to take in panoramic views of the San Diego Bay.
