Piper Spring location is 33.43464N, 111.38008W. Spring was named for Ed Piper a miner who spent years searching for the lost Dutchman gold mine. He had a camp near here. Ed died from an ulcer on 12AUG1962. With his death the Jones Piper feud ( 1959 to 1962 ) was over.
