Built in the 1930s by John J.K. Tarasoff and two Mennonite carpenters from the Langham area. About 90 feet high. Construction used: 2" by 4" fir boards laid and nailed on top of each other, with 4 tall compartments within. Access to the top was by a ladder. The elevator was originally powered by wind. Later, a gas-powered conveyor transferred grain from truck to the elevator.
