Donabate Dexter farm (located on the old turvey golf club) is a mixed farm producing high quality beef, pork, lamb and eggs for the local community. We strive to do everything naturally, ethically, organically, and to the very highest animal welfare standards.

Donabate Dexter Farm was started in 2015 with a herd of 10 Dexter cows and a bull. In 2017 the expanding herd moved onto our current location, the former Turvey Golf Club in Donabate. Here, we began farming more animals including a flock of free range hens (mixed flock of mostly ex battery hens and some younger ones), and in 2018 we added rare breed pigs and sheep. We now also have goats, ducks, geese and our cattle dogs Cola and Copper.

Over the years our (all part time) team has expanded and now includes farmers, butchers, mechanic, delivery drivers, an administrator, and other advisors, friends and volunteers.

We have future plans for producing vegetables, salad crops, fruit and honey, and also pastured poultry.

Donabate Dexter Farm is a local farm producing quality healthy food for the local community, we are open to visitors by appointment to see how we do things.
