The quarry is actually a large wasteland that is know locally as "The quarry" There has actually never been any mining or blasting and the large structure in the middle used to create reinforced concrete slabs, The factory has now closed and has been knocked down. The quarry was meant to be turned into housing many times yet there has been constant delay.
