The highest summit of Kodar mountains.
Kodar is mountain land (with the same name range as a backbone) situated in South Siberia, to the North-West from the Lake Baikal, near BAM railway. The feature of this area (besides it's remote position- really uncrowded as one could ever imagine!) is it's pure Alpine shape, with vertical walls peaks (the highest summit - Peak BAM, 3072 m), glaciers, mountain lakes, alpine meadows with myriad of flowers. Moreover, as a special bonus, the trekkers can visit the wistfully famous Stalin's GULAG camp!
