Commodities: Food and Farm Products, Wheat. Remarks: Hawaiian Flour Mills: Grain elevator at rear of Pier 23 has twenty concrete silos with 11 interstices; total capacity 26,000 tons. Piers 22 and 23 are contiguous forming an approximate 200- by 250-foot slip with Piers 24 and 25. Steel-sheet-pile concrete-crib bulkhead with asphalt-/concrete-surfaced solid fill at five concrete-breasting dolphins in line with face. Inner portion of wharf fronted by rubber-fender system. Self-unloading vessels unload grain into a 36-inch under- ground conveyor extending to grain elevator at rear; unloading rate 280-300 tons per hour.
