A fountain at Versailles dedicated to the chief of the Gigantes, Enceladus. The gilt-bronze sculpture, showing Enceladus erupting from the earth and throwing rocks, is by Gaspar Mercy of Cambrai. The fountain grove is cut into woodland and enclosed by trellis.
