Named for a nearby creek called Fiume Osa that reaches the sea about 0.5 km to the north, this beach is a public access beach for the residents of Montiano, Magliano, and Scansano. The stretch of coastline that goes from the town of Talamone to the promontory of Monte Argentario is also known as Costa d'Argento. The closest town for food and accessories shopping is Fonteblanda, about 2 km away.

Public parking is available, which during the summer months costs about 2 Euros an hour.
