Accessible only on foot or by watercraft, this beach has repeatedly won a spot on the top 10 beaches of Italy. To access is on foot, one must reach by car a parking lot managed by the municipality of Scarlino (3 Euros), and then walk 2 km. Some concessionaries near the beach sell refreshments and sandwiches. A trail system exists on the the woodsy hills, with some of the trails being mountain bikeable as well. A geocache exists as well.
