Veltsa manor (Veltsa)

Estonia / Parnu / Lope / Veltsa
estate (manor / mansion land), interesting place, historic landmark, 19th century construction

The estate was founded around 1600 and later belonged mostly to the von Uexkülls. The manor house was elaborated in the 1850s in the English Tudor style, while the most stylish house was not the main building but an auxiliary building with an opening for the gate. Most of the buildings have now been abandoned and as a result are therefore in ruins. By the historical distribution the manor was in Mihkli Parish in Läänemaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Koonga Municipality in Pärnumaa County.
