The land for the cemetery was donated by A. Hunter in 1911. The cemetery association maintains the property and has a all volunteer annual clean up day just before Memorial Day. A local Boy Scout troop performs a ceremony on Memorial Day to honor the veterans buried there. The Fox Island Museum currently keeps the records.
