Tac Giang irrigation works cluster is located at the boundary of communes: Chuyen Ngoai commune - Duy Tien district and Chinh Ly commune, Nguyen Ly commune - Ly Nhan district - Ha Nam. The Tac Giang culvert and boat main project belongs to the Tac Giang - Phu Ly irrigation system, which is responsible for regulating the water of the Chu Giang river, circulating water between the Red, Chu and Day river systems, and irrigating water for irrigation. districts in Ha Nam province and serving waterway traffic are located on the right dike of the Red River. When there was no Tac Giang irrigation project, people around the area had to suffer from drought, without water for irrigation, which seriously affected the Dong Xuan rice crop. That's why this place is called 'Tac Giang'. Tac Giang focal project cluster was started construction in June 2007 and completed in April 2010. This is one of the projects with the largest investment capital in Ha Nam province, with a total investment of 175 billion VND (of which ADB's capital accounts for 90%).
