The village of Leninskoye (Pokraken) is located eight kilometers from the city of Slavsk (Heinrichswalde) by the river Nemoninka (Schalteick).
The settlement was founded in 1614 after the land was bought by a retired officer of the Prussian army Christoph Mackinen.
The name of the village goes back to the Lithuanian Pakriokiai.

The construction of the Protestant church was started in 1894. And in 1896, the church of the Pokraken settlement was solemnly consecrated, and services began, which were held in both German and Lithuanian.
Before the church appeared in Pokraken, people had to get to services in Neukirch (Timiryazevo village).
An altar inside the temple was erected in a sanctuary, to the right of it there was a pulpit. As in most churches of that time, inside the church was an organ made by the organ master August Terletzi from the city of Elbing (now the Polish city of Elblag).
Kircha belonged to the diocese of the church district of Tilsit, and the church of the Old Prussian Union.

By the decree of the Government of the Kaliningrad region, the church received the status of a cultural heritage site
local (municipal) significance.
In 2010, the church was transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church, which never belonged to.

As of May 2021, the owner does not perform any work at the facility.
What is left of the church is a sad sight. The building collapses and the entire territory of the temple resembles a garbage dump. And this is despite the fact that there is a local club nearby - the center of culture of the rural settlement of Leninskoye. By the way, the club is located in a former church building.

Inside the church, some very interesting elements of wall painting have been preserved. An ornament was applied to the plastered surface, which almost did not lose color over the long years of desolation and the influence of nature.
