Former church with cemetery of Thierenberg

The church of Thierberg was one of the oldest and build ab. 1270. During its catholic period many frescos were painted on walls and ceiling. Its interior contained many statues, of which a few remained until 1945, one of them representing Saint Adalbert. Its altar was a beautifull piece of art and constructed 1511-1518. The church buildings were heavily damaged in 1945 and demolished for the use of a nearby airfield 1945-1946.
