cottage, listed building / architectural heritage
This summer cottage was designed by architect Bruce Price for his children to live in or sell, circa 1893. It is one of four similar cottages all designed and built by Mr. Price, located next door to each other on Pepperidge Road. The name Post is for Mr. Price's daughter, Emily Post, of etiquette fame. Miss. Post lived in Post Cottage No. 1. Each cottage number [1 - 4] is assigned to the cottage because of the number of dormers on its front facade.
