Construction began in the 1940's, it had many other uses through out the years, most recently an antique auction house. Renovation started in 2003 with all new electrical wiring, plumbing, and concretes. A country bakery on the west end of the building and a clothing boutique on the east end, which was the former spot for Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. That went out of business in mid-2008.
