Lot P.T. 12150
The temple complex will consist of a temple building and a two storey administrative building. The temple will be known as Devi Sri Lalithaambigai Alayam. The temple complex will consist of shrines for Devi Lalithaambigai (main deity) Devi Saraswathy, Devi Sri Mahaletchumi, Devi Sri Rajarajeswari, Lord Ganapathy, Lord Subramanian and a shrine for the navagrahas. The two storey administrative building will consist an administrative office, a pantry, a small hall, quarters for the priest, multi purpose room and toilets for public use. The total build up area for the temple complex is 1720.12m2 (18519.2ft2) The tem-ple building build up area is 1377.24m2 (14819.1ft2). The temple will be build according to the Vesara style which contains elements of both Dravida style (South Indian architecture) and Nagara style (North India architecture) concept. This temple will also have pillars that will able to produce seven basic notes of music (the sapta swaranggal). In addition to the pillars a magnificent temple bell which will produce special vibration which also will be part of the tourist attraction despite of a place for the Hindu devotees to practice their religious right. This temple will be one of a unique kind in Putrajaya and in Malaysia.
The temple will have beautiful light effect that will also be a tourist attraction apart from a place for the Hindu devotees to practice their religious rights. New and innovative technology will be infused to have a completely power saving concept.The temple will be fitted with led lights rather than having conventional types of bulbs, this is to reduce the heat the normal bulb will produce. The lighting concept suggested will be a very unique concept compared to the normal seen lighting in usual temples.
The temple land is allocated at lot P.T. 12150, Precinct 20. The land area is about 3110m2. Infrastructure for the area such as roads and car parks are readily available. It can be accessed from Putrajaya or from Dengkil. Soil test was done for this land. Soil test revealed that three meters below the surface is hard rock. To remove the rock will cost a lot. Soil test was also done to determine the deity for the temple. The soil was sent to India. The test revealed that the appropriate deity for the temple to be built will be a female deity. In 2010 a Ganapathi Homom was conducted by the temple committee.
