This place is around 65 KM from Bangalore. "Vakkaleri Grama" can be reached through two ways from Bangalore.
1. Come to "Malur" via "Hosakote". Take Left turn towards "Kolar" once you enter Malur. "Vakkaleri" is around 25 KM from Malur.
2. Come to "Narasapura" via "Hosakote" on NH-4, Bangalore-Kolar High way. Take Narasapura-bypass towards "Kolar" . On Narasapura-bypass take right turn before "Volvo Machineries" . Carry on till you reach Vakkaleri Grama. Follow the sign boards. Its around 8 Km from Narasapura-bypass.

This place is surrounded by lot of Mango, Gauva, Silk and Coconut crops. Good greenary to view. Lot of temples around the village. Must visit Markandeya hill and the temple; located next to the village. During Shivarathri and February every year lot of celebrations do happen. Visit this place once.
