  • Sunnidale park was formerly a golf course taken over by the city in the late 60's. Formerly on the ouskirts of town, it is now a large green space in the middle of mostly residential development. It features a community centre, and a large arboretum, very popular for wedding pictures. Lots of decorated limosines parked along Sunnidale Road most summer Saturday afternoons.
  • Before its time as a golf course, it was used as an ammunition target range by the Canadian Armed Forces.
