A small mosque in Istanbul, built atop an earlier Christian church, possibly part of the Odalar Monastery. It was already in ruins in 1453, and in 1506 it was rebuilt as a mosque by the Janissary commander Kasım Ağa. The mosque was damaged by an earthquake in 1894 and by a fire in 1919, and was restored in the 1970s.
