Hitianau is an islet and the main village, on the northwest rim of Faaite Atoll, Tuamou Archipelago, French Polynesia. It is on the southern side of the Teporioha Passage into the lagoon. The village has a population of 246, which is over 60% of the population of the entire atoll.
