The Vasa Museum (Swedish: Vasamuseet) is a maritime museum in Stockholm, Sweden. Located on the island of Djurgården, the museum displays an intact 17th century ship, the Vasa, which sank during its first launch and was lifted from the floor of the harbor several centuries later. The Vasa Museum opened in 1990 and is the most visited museum in Scandinavia.
