Autamba-KilimNational Park consists of two areas: Autamba and Kilimi. Declared a nature reserve in 1974, it was established as a National Park in October 1995. The park is named after the mountains and rivers Kilimni Autamba.

The Autamba region covers an area of ​​741 square kilometers, and the Kilmi region 368 square kilometers. The park is home to chimpanzees, hippos, pygmy hippos, rare species of antelope, elephants, warthogs and more than a hundred species of birds as well as the aboriginal tribe Soso.
