Willard Bridge

A narrow, two lane bridge opened in 1955. This bridge has entered into a political debate about road funding in Kansas. Its weight limit (14 tons for a two-axle vehicle) is too low for most school buses, which have to use other routes. At 60 years old, it is due for replacement but the funds might not be available due to budget problems at the state level.
