An off stream storage reservoir and recreational lake in Stafford County. It is impounded by the Rocky Pen Run Dam. It began filling in January 2014. With a mean pool elevation around 230 feet, it is expected to hold 5.5 billion gallons to provide water to Stafford County. It was the biggest public works project in the county's history and is stocked for fishing.
