on the way from Deir al Badi to Mons Porphyritis you may take a difficult but scenic offroad track through a wadi west of and close to the Abu Dukhan Mountan. This site is ideal for a camp as it is absolutely remote and quiet with phantastic view onto the mountain ranges. From here you - as an experienced offroader - may follow the wadi northbound but not a Hummer as one passage is very narrow.
