Sculpture "Rainbow" is by artist Tony Tasset (you may know his Paul Bunyan near Chicago). It stands 94 feet high, 188 feet wide, and 8 feet thick. It straddles the Madison Street entrance to Sony Pictures Studio, the studio (as legendary MGM) that produced the iconic "The Wizard of Oz." It was completed in 2012 and is a part of Culver City's public art program. The cost of the project was $1.6 million.
