This 400 acre property was built by William du Pont, Jr as a Thoroughbred racing stable in the 1920s. It later became well known after William du Pont's son, John DuPont converted the farm into an Olympic training facility in the 1980's, with specific focus on wrestling as the Foxcatcher National Training center.

John DuPont increasingly duffered from mental illness and eventually killed wrestler Dave Schultz at his home before holding up in the mansion for 2 days.

The facility sat abandonned for 15 years until it was cleared and demolished in 2013 to make room for 400 luxury condos.
