First World War Memorial. 1920 by R Blomfield. Portland stone with bronze details. 3 steps up to a deep plinth from which the 3-tier monument, square on plan, rises on a tiered base. Inscription panels and wreaths on each face. The upper two tiers are coped, second tier with inverted torches to each face. Memorial crowned with an urn.
