administrative building, Neo-Gothic (architecture), historical building, 14th century construction, building/structure that has been renovated/restored/reconstructed
The Neo-Gothic Sprenger Wing was built in 1848 on the site of earlier buildings that belonged to the Old Town Hall. The Old Town Archives were kept here. The wing, together with the archive, burned down in May 1945 during the liberation of Prague by Soviet troops. Only a small part of the wing was restored, in the place of most of it is now a public garden.
