Built in the memory of Raja Khanzada Hasan Khan Mewati (died March 17 1527 in Battle of Khanwa from Side of Rana Sanga), was an ambitious Khanzada Rajput Muslim ruler of Mewat. His dynasty had ruled Mewat for nearly 200 years. It is believed that his ancestors converted to Islam in 1350's on the invitation of Firuz Shah Tughlaq and by the preaching of Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi.
