Though he never actually built a studio and never "moved in" he did shoot parts of several movies on the "Ranch." This ranch was purchased in 1923 by the Harold Lloyd Corporation, he did build a kennel for his dogs and a New York exterior set. It appears that the property was sold off by 1937. The ranch was located on Santa Monica Blvd on the south, Selby Ave. on the west, Temple Way. on the east, and Ohio Ave. on the north. The site is now home to the Los Angeles Temple of the LDS Church, Emerson Middle School, and St. Paul the Apostle Church.
