Ledyard is a town in Cayuga County, New York, United States. The population was 1,886 at the 2010 census. The name of the town is from General Benjamin Ledyard, an early settler. Ledyard is on the western edge of the county southwest of Auburn and contains the Village of Aurora. Wells College, founded as a college for women, is in the village of Aurora.
