Sunaula Bazaar is where the Dhading district headquarter offices were located, prior to 2032 B.S. - Nepali Vikram Sambat Calendar. it was a place of primary importance in terms of property title transfer office, land survey and reform offices, district court, education, trade and access to Prithivi Highway to get to Kathmandu. Currently a small, quiet place with a good educational institution - Bhairabi High School - and police and health care centers.
