It was a Family Inns of America motel that is located off I-95 near the South Carolina border in Rowland, North Carolina. It was closed and abandoned sometime in the late 90's or early 2000's. Vandalism and the elements have caused the property to deteriorate over the past decade. Portions of the motel have collapsed or are structurally unstable. The property has gained some notoriety among urban explorers who have explored and documented the decay over the past few years.
